<h3 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-what-equipment-do-i-need-to-make-this-slow-cooker-chicken-dip">What equipment do I need to make this Slow Cooker Chicken Dip?</h3>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">First and foremost, I think it goes without saying that you’ll need a&nbsp;<strong>slow cooker or Crockpot</strong>. I have a 2.5-quart Crockpot. I’ve found that it’s the perfect size for dip recipes like this one and my&nbsp;<a href="https://www.365daysofbakingandmore.com/beer-cheese-dip-homemade-pretzel-bites/" rel="noreferrer noopener">Beer Cheese Dip</a>.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">To shred the cheese, I use a&nbsp;<strong>cheese grater</strong>&nbsp;or&nbsp;<strong>food processor</strong>.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Use a&nbsp;<strong>spatula</strong>&nbsp;to stir the ingredients once in the Crockpot. It makes it so easy to scrape down the sides of the slow cooker and mix all of the ingredients together.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">I used the canned chicken that I also ordered online on Walmart.com. You can also use poached chicken breasts, leftover chicken, or even a rotisserie chicken like I used for this&nbsp;<a href="https://www.365daysofbakingandmore.com/buffalo-chicken-cheese-ball/" rel="noreferrer noopener">Buffalo Chicken Cheese Ball</a>.</p>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-can-i-substitute-something-else-for-the-blue-cheese">Can I substitute something else for the Blue Cheese?</h3>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">If blue cheese isn’t for you, then I recommend using ½ cup of ranch dressing instead.</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-how-to-make-slow-cooker-buffalo-chicken-dip">How to make Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken Dip</h3>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">First, spray your slow cooker bowl with cooking spray or use a liner for easy cleanup.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Next, combine all the ingredients except the parsley in the bowl of the crockpot. Cook it on low for 1 ½ hours. Then stir everything together and it’s ready to serve!</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">I like to keep it on the “Keep Warm” setting to keep that cheese nice and melty.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">YES! You can make this Buffalo Chicken Dip in the oven. Just preheat your oven to 350°F. Mix all ingredients in a large bowl and pour into a shallow 1-quart baking dish. Bake it for 20 minutes until mixture is heated throughout.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Stir and sprinkle with chopped parsley and additional green onions.</p>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-how-do-i-store-leftover-chicken-dip">How do I store leftover Chicken Dip?</h3>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Once your buffalo chicken cools to room temperature, transfer leftover dip to an airtight container, then store it in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. Reheat in a saucepan or slow cooker to serve it again.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">I ordered all the Hellmann&#8217;s condiments I needed for our upcoming tailgate party.<br>The squeeze bottles are easy to hold, super convenient, and the perfect size for a party.<br>There&#8217;s also a lot less clean up &#8211; no extra utensils or bowls needed as when using jars.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">This recipe is one that I ALWAYS serve on Game Days. <br>This pepperoni bread is just something that is so great to snack on during the big game and there&#8217;s never any left when I make it.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">I make pepperoni bread when we go to parties because it&#8217;s great <a href="https://www.365daysofbakingandmore.com/game-day-finger-foods/">finger food</a>. Everyone loves when I bring this to tail gaiting parties!&nbsp;</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Pepperoni bread is a fantastic easy appetizer served with your favorite dipping sauce. I&#8217;ll also serve it with a salad and some buttered pasta for dinner. Either way, the family and any friend who&#8217;s eaten some love it.&nbsp;</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">We&#8217;ve also eaten our pepperoni bread with some bottled marinara, but our preferred dipping sauce is just a bottle of Good Seasons Italian Dressing. It&#8217;s SOOOO good!!</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-game-day">Game Day</h3>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">This Sunday, I&#8217;m also looking forward to serving these <a href="http://www.southernmadesimple.com/touchdown-taco-cups/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Touchdown Taco Cups</a>, and&nbsp;<a href="http://www.honeyandbirch.com/sheet-pan-loaded-chicken-nachos/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Sheet Pan Loaded Chicken Nachos</a>. Of course, no <a href="https://www.365daysofbakingandmore.com/25-game-day-eats/">game day</a> menu is complete without wings, so we&#8217;ll be eating these <a href="http://www.adashofsanity.com/2016/01/black-blue-chicken-wings/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Black &amp; Blue Chicken Wings</a> too.&nbsp;</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-pepperoni-bread-recipe">Pepperoni Bread Recipe</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">In the past, I have used Pillsbury French Bread loaves to make our pepperoni bread but wasn&#8217;t nuts about the taste. I&#8217;ve gotten good results with packaged bread dough or the canisters of pizza dough I&#8217;ve gotten from grocery stores.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">My best results have been with pizza dough from restaurants or from dough that I&#8217;ve made myself. If you have a favorite place just ask them if they&#8217;ll sell some to you.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">There&#8217;s a great pizza place that we fell in love with up near my daughter&#8217;s college and I asked them if they sold their dough. They charged me $5 per bag which I thought was worth it because it saved me the trouble of making it and I LOVED the taste.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Confession time: I have this habit which drives my kids nuts when we go out for pizza. When I get down to the crust, I tear it open, stick my nose in it and take a deep whiff.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Aaaaahhhhhhhh, it&#8217;s so awesome! Many times I&#8217;ve heard from the kids as they&#8217;re rolling their eyes, &#8220;Here she goes again&#8221;. It&#8217;s a ritual, what can I say!</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">So if you find a place you like, ask them!&nbsp;</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">For a pizza dough lover like me, it doesn&#8217;t get any better than pepperoni bread made with a delicious and freshly made pizza dough.&nbsp;</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Thankfully for us all my photography skills have improved a lot over the years! But my technique for pizza bread making remains the same.&nbsp;</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">You layer the pepperoni and cheese together one section of the dough at a time, rolling as you go until you get an awesome long tube of pepperoni and cheese stuffed dough like this.&nbsp;</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">I curved my dough to fit it on my standard sized cookie sheet.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Then comes my favorite part; the thing that takes this pepperoni bread from &#8220;good&#8221; to &#8220;HOLY COW!</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">You brush melted butter over the entire roll and then sprinkle with Italian seasoning and garlic powder before baking it in the oven.&nbsp;After about 25 minutes in the oven and a couple minutes of cooling, your pepperoni bread is ready to be cut.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">I cut this into even rectangles and served it on a big platter for sharing. We enjoy this bread dipped in Italian dressing or marinara sauce. I&#8217;ve heard from pizza-and-ranch lovers that this pepperoni bread is also delicious dipped in <a href="https://www.365daysofbakingandmore.com/jalapeno-ranch-dip/">ranch dressing.</a></p>

<p>Football on the weekends is where it&#8217;s at and you can&#8217;t pull me away from the TV on Sundays now that the season has started. I&#8217;m SO into it and it&#8217;s not just rooting for my team, I&#8217;m just really enjoying watching all the games in general.</p>

<p>I was shopping in my local Fry&#8217;s the other day when I wanted to create a new appetizer for the family just for these events. They&#8217;ve just renovated the store and I&#8217;m absolutely in love with it!</p>
<p>They opened up space by condensing the aisles making them more efficient to find products, relocated the sushi bar, added a gorgeous cheese section with huge wheels of Parmigiano Reggiano, and even put in a wine bar! Kind of cool because there are two TVs on which you can watch the game should you be so inclined to do so. You can be sure you&#8217;ll find all you need to make your Game Day great at your local Kroger.</p>

<p>We absolutely love shredded pork and instead of going with the same ol&#8217; shredded pork sandwiches, I decided to spice things up a bit (literally) and put them on our favorite RITZ cracker to make some bite-size morsels.</p>
<p>While watching men fight over a little brown ball, I always think it&#8217;s easier and a bit more fun if finger food is involved.</p>

<p>We also like to drink a Coca-Cola or two while watching, but this time I wanted to improve the flavor of the barbecue sauce by adding it to the pork and boy, did it ever! I rubbed the meat with a little chili paste and covered it in a dry rub.</p>

<div class="_uyj _PBj">I placed the meat back into the slow cooker to soak up some of that great sauce and while that cooked, I put some RITZ crackers on a baking sheet lined with parchment.</div>

I topped the RITZ cracker with a little bit of shredded pork, some <a href="https://www.365daysofbakingandmore.com/how-to-caramelize-onions/" rel="noopener">caramelized onions</a>, and a bit of shredded cheese and popped them under the broiler for a minute or two.</div>

When they came out, they were sprinkled with a little bit of fresh cilantro and VOILA,  a great Game Day appetizer was born! Honestly, I have to tell you that the pictures don&#8217;t do them justice. There is SO very much flavor in that tiny little bite and everything comes together so nicely.</div>

<p>Hi there, Leia from Eat It &amp; Say Yum, here. 🙂  My kiddos absolutely gobbled up this sliders version of sloppy joes. These Sloppy Joe Sliders have a little Hawaiian flare. They are easy to make, and super tasty.</p>

<p>I brown my ground beef in a large pan, and add some diced bell pepper and onion. The seasonings and sauce ingredients make for a really flavorful meat filling, that is also nice and moist. To give these that Hawaiian flare, I add pineapple juice to the meat mixture. And I serve these on our favorite Hawaiian rolls.</p>

<p>You can easily whip these up for dinner or serve as an appetizer/ finger food at your next party. Can you say &#8216;perfect football food?&#8217;  Yep.</p>
<p>Plus, if you have leftovers, you can save the rest in the fridge or even freeze the remaining filling for another time. The recipe makes a good amount, but you can cut the ingredients in half if you want a smaller batch.</p>

When meat is almost cooked through, add the diced bell pepper and onion.  Stir to cook evenly.</div></li><li id="wprm-recipe-10494-step-0-1" class="wprm-recipe-instruction" style="list-style-type: decimal;"><div class="wprm-recipe-instruction-text" style="margin-bottom: 5px;">Add the chili powder, brown sugar, salt, pepper, ketchup, pineapple juice, and vinegar.  Stir to combine everything, then let the mixture simmer on low for 15 minutes- or more, covered with a lid.</div></li><li id="wprm-recipe-10494-step-0-2" class="wprm-recipe-instruction" style="list-style-type: decimal;"><div class="wprm-recipe-instruction-text" style="margin-bottom: 5px;">Slice Hawaiian rolls open, spoon the sloppy joe mixture onto the roll and cover with the top half of the roll.
