Sometime times there are recipes , and then other times…
I am proud to be partnering with Hormel Foods to bring you this sponsored post. As always, all opinions are 100 % my own.
There are RECIPES!
I know you know what I’m talking about.
There are recipes that you come across that are just meh.
Other times, there are those that you absolutely fall in love with, add to your collection and make them over and over and over again.
THIS is one of those recipes!
I kid you not, I dipped a pita chip into this baby and said OUT LOUD, “MMMmmm!! WHY have I not made this before now??!!”
And every single family member asked me the same thing when they tasted it, too.
Hubby even said it was, “top shelf. A-1. Restaurant quality.” all while his his mouth was full of pizza dip. 🤣👍

I’ll tell you why I haven’t made it before.
It’s because sometimes the universe just isn’t ready for certain things, and I know there are other recipes out there just like it.
But it’s like that saying by Tao Te Ching, “when the student is ready, the teacher will appear…”
Hello, Hormel Foods!
When they contacted me about their HORMEL® Cup N’ Crisp Pepperoni Bold, I thought long and hard about what to make.
Ok, honestly, maybe not that hard because we absolutely LOVE pepperoni.
Alright, alright.
It was really pretty easy, actually.
I mean, when one of THE most popular recipes on 365 Days of Baking and More is my Pepperoni Bread, you know that one of the recipes I’m going to come up with is similar, and dare I say…BETTER than the original!
Yup, you heard it here and it’s no longer a secret (ok, it never really was a secret).
The Double Pepperoni Bread Twist I made with it is seriously the ULTIMATE in pepperoni bread.
Like next level pepperoni bread even.
You MUST give it a try.
And I’ve fallen hard for HORMEL®’s Cup N’ Crisp Pepperoni Bold, I tell ya.
I absolutely love the flavor because it really does taste like I’m enjoying the tastes of my favorite pizzeria right here at home.
Plus, I can’t tell you how cool it is that these flat slices of pepperoni curl up into little cups when they cook!
They’re so doggone adorable that I just want to take them all of the top of the pizza dip and pop them all into my mouth.
So, pepperoni. ❤️❤️❤️

Let’s see we’ve got Spinach Pepperoni Bread if you want your kids to eat their greens. Just tell them they’ll grow up big and strong like Popeye.
And then they’ll say, “Who?!” because they have absolutely no idea who he is.
And you might not either depending how old you are.
Anyway.
Pasta’s always delish.
And of course, when it’s got pepperoni in it, it’s even better.
Duh.
Pepperoni Pizza Pasta and Pizza Stuffed Shells are both easy peasy and delicious if you’re looking for some great weeknight meal ideas.
It goes without saying that you can put it on top of pizza.
And if you’re making it at home, you’re definitely going to want to use this Classic Pizza Dough recipe.
It makes enough for THREE sheet pan pizzas AND is now THE ONLY dough I use to make both my Pepperoni Bread and Double Pepperoni Bread Twist because it’s just so doggone delish.
I think the next recipe I need to make with it are these Mini Pepperoni Calzones.
Did you know that these delicious slices are also a great addition to a Meat and Cheese Board?
Granted you won’t get those curled edges, but if you want them you can always cook them in the microwave until the become pepperoni cups and serve them that way.
You can even add them to your breakfast menu.
This Meat Lover’s Pizza Frittata is seriously like having pizza for breakfast, but with less carbs.
How do you make pizza dip with cream cheese?
- Three kinds of cheeses
Cream cheese at room temperature, so that it can be mixed more easily.
Shredded mozzarella cheese – buy mozzarella in a block (NOT the white, fresh mozzarella) and shred it yourself, if possible. It will melt better than buying it already shredded.
Freshly grated Parmesan cheese – and I say freshly grated because that will melt more easily as well. - HORMEL® Cup N’ Crisp Pepperoni Bold
Cup N’ Crisp Pepperoni comes in two varieties, regular and Bold for those who love a little extra kick, so you can use whichever you prefer!
You’ll need a total of 40 slices of the HORMEL® Cup N’ Crisp Pepperoni Bold for your pizza dip.
10 of the slices will be quartered and mixed in with the cheeses, and you’ll use at least 30 for the top.
Feel free to use more for the top as the edges will curl up forming little cups as they bake. So the more the merrier!
OR you can just eat the remaining slices as I did while making it. 😉 - Italian seasoning
If you don’t have it, use a ½ teaspoon each of basil and oregano. - Garlic powder
What do you use to dip in a pepperoni pizza dip?
- Parmesan Bread Bites
- Crackers
- Tortilla chips
- Pretzel Crisps
- Toasted or grilled baguette slices
- Pita chips

It’s delicious! How long can I keep it in the fridge before I bake it?
Lynne says
Pamela, you make the dip the night before, refrigerate it overnight and then bake it before you serve it. Hope that helps!
