Then you know I’ve been exercising and trying to lose a few pounds, especially the last couple of days.
On Tuesday, I shared a picture of the food that I was wanting to shove into my mouth while on Day 2 of the 21 Day Fix’s 3 Day Quick Fix.
I didn’t. But BOY, did those Oreos sure sound good!

While I’ve been exercising consistently over the past month and a half, doing trail hikes with Kurt (Mr. 365) and morning workouts with my 21 Day Fix DVD’s, I haven’t been following the diet that goes along with it.
I wanted to get in the habit of exercising and focus on that before I added the food part of it, but I have limited my snacking and have been drinking more water. Even though I haven’t lost any weight, the good thing is that I’m definitely becoming more toned and am seeing a physical difference.
Woo hoo!

I wanted to see if doing this 3 Day Quick Fix after exercising for a while would help me lose a little weight. There was a goal to lose a total of 5 or so, and as of this morning, I’ve done it!
I was very excited to see this because I know it’s taken me years to get to this point. Of course, I’m not going to lose it overnight and that it is going to take quite a bit of mental and physical effort (but wouldn’t the opposite be nice? 😉 ).
The foods to be eaten on the 3 Day party are really not that exciting, BUT with seasoning, they can taste a whole heck of a lot better. I’m not a big fish eater as is, so when I read that I had to eat “steamed fish” twice a day for three days, I almost quit before I started.
BORING!!!
But, as I said if we spice things up a bit WITHOUT USING ANY SALT, it is actually quite delicious and something that I will now be adding to our family menu! You can add salt to taste if you like or serve it separately at the table for family members, but I found that it seriously was flavorful enough without the salt.
I slightly adapted this recipe from All Recipes.
