Cranberry Apple Chicken Salad – a simple and delicious lunch made of fresh apple, dried cranberries and shredded chicken mixed with Best Foods mayonnaise. I’m proud to partner with Best Foods to show you how you can make that lunch extra special and squeeze a special note onto the bread!
Chicken is definitely a staple around here.
This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Kitchen PLAY for Best Foods. As always, all opinions expressed are my own.
I use it in a lot of our meals, but when I say “a lot of our meals” I’m talking more dinner. I don’t think I’ve ever served it at breakfast (that really doesn’t sound appealing to me) and rarely do we have it for lunch unless there’s leftover chicken breast from the night before which I’ll cut up to put into a green salad.
But now, the game has changed. I’ve made a chicken salad in the past, but I’d forgotten not only how easy it is, but how down-right delicious it is, too! It’s a welcomed change from the typical lunch meats or even peanut butter and jelly.
I mean, they’re tasty and all, but eating the same thing can tend to get old and I know with school in session there are going to be LOTS of lunches made. Best Foods has got you covered this year. They’ll help make those lunches delicious and fun for your kids!

The squeeze bottle has a new clean lock cap and precision tip which makes it easy to #SqueezeMoreOut. It’s so simple that the kids can even do it without making a mess and who doesn’t love that?
When I was little, mom always used to put notes in my lunch box. It was always such a fun surprise and every day I wondered what she’d write next. I remember how wonderful it was to know that mom was thinking of me in the middle of my day.
Her notes always made me feel warm and fuzzy inside, especially if my day wasn’t going so well. It was like mom and I had this special secret that nobody else knew about. I thought it was important to continue this with my kids, so they’d often find a note or two well into their high school years. Towards the end, there might have been a little incentive to embarrass them as well. 😉
Now with Best Foods, you can incorporate those notes right onto the sandwiches you’re making. Imagine how surprised they’ll be when they open their sandwich and find a note written by mom or dad to brighten their day? It’s something they’ll always be able to look back on and you might just be starting a tradition.
