- 1 ⅓ cups Nila Wafer Cookie Crumbs - 5 tbsp unsalted butter - 3 oz orange gelatin - 1 ½ cup water - 16 oz cream cheese - 1 ¼ cup powdered sugar - 2 tsp orange extract - 8 drops orange food gel - 1 tsp vanilla extract - 3 cups + 8 oz Cool Whip
Add the cookie crumbs to the melted butter and mix until well incorporated. Pour into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly, pressing down to create an even crust. Freeze for a minimum of 30 minutes.
Prepare orange gelatin. Beat together cream cheese, powdered sugar, orange extract, and orange food coloring. Slowly pour in orange gelatin and mix well to combine.
In a separate bowl, mix together cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla. Fold in Cool Whip. Place dollops of cream cheese mixture onto the cookie crust. Spread evenly.
Gently spread the orange cream over the cheesecake layer. Use an offset spatula to spread evenly. Refrigerate for at least 6 hours or overnight.
When ready to serve, cut with a knife. Decorate with Nilla Wafer Cookies, Cool Whip, and orange slices if desired.
