Strawberry Crunch Topping

Strawberry Crunch Topping is a sweet and crunchy treat made of freeze-dried strawberries, Golden Oreos, and strawberry Jell-O. Full of strawberry flavor it's delicious on ice cream and other desserts!
Ingredients
- ½ cup freeze-dried strawberries
- 10 Vanilla or Golden Oreos
- 1 tablespoon strawberry Jell-O powder
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- pinch of salt
Instructions
- Place freeze-dried strawberries, Oreos in a food processor. Pulse until coarse crumbs form.
- Add strawberry Jello powder and salt. Pulse briefly to combine.
- Pour in melted butter and pulse just until the mixture holds together when pressed.
- Spread on a plate and chill for 10 to 15 minutes before using.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days. If it softens, spread it on a plate for a few minutes to dry out. Do not refrigerate long term or it will clump.
- This recipe makes about 1 ½ cups. Nutritional information has been calculated for 2 tablespoons per serving.
