Ingredients
2 ¼cupsall-purpose flour
¾teaspoonbaking powder
½teaspoonbaking soda
½teaspoonkosher salt
1 ¼cupsgranulated sugar
2ouncescream cheeseroom temperature
7tablespoons buttermelted, I use salted
¼cup vegetable oil
1egg
1tablespoonmilk
1teaspoonpure vanilla extract
1cupwhite chocolate chips
1 ½cupsOreo cookiesroughly chopped, See note
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F, and line a baking sheet or sheets with a sheet of parchment paper.
In a small bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth and well combined, about 3 minutes.
Add the melted butter, vegetable oil, egg, milk, and vanilla. Mix thoroughly. Batter should be smooth and creamy.
Gradually add the dry ingredients until just combined. Add the white chocolate chips and chopped Oreos completely.
Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, place scoops of dough onto prepared cookie sheet(s) about an inch apart. They will spread slightly, but not too much.
Bake cookies for 9-11 minutes or until just slightly golden. Allow to cool on baking sheet for a couple minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
I find it best to roughly chop the Oreos as opposed to putting them into a plastic bag and breaking them. This way the pieces will be more defined with the filling mostly intact as opposed to smashed or crushed.
