In reply to TARa. Tara, there are quite a few recipes for making homemade caramels if you do a Google search that you can make for the recipe. I wouldn't make a caramel sauce because that would be too runny.

In reply to Holly Thornton. Holly, so sorry about my very delayed reply. I recommend refrigerating the bites after they're frosted if you aren't going to be serving them right away since there is butter in the frosting.

Hi! I am thinking of making these for my sister’s birthday and was wondering how the icing holds up? Do these need to stay refrigerated? I made a marshmallow fluff icing a couple of weeks ago for some smores brownies and it melted everywhere! Thanks in advance 🙂
