I’ve made several times in the past-just delicious, but had lost recipe. Now I can’t remember since Cool Whip is easily measured from freezer – Is the Cool Whip defrosted in refrigerator or used directly from freezer?

In reply to Lillian Huskey. Lillian, you are SO observant and are THE first person to catch that, so I thank you! Yeah, the crust will definitely be cool enough if it's been in the freezer. Apparently, years ago, I copied part of the recipe from another one which had a baked crust. I really appreciate you bringing that to my attention.

Can you tell me about #4 & 5. It says allow crust to cool completely. If its been in freezer for 30 min wouldn’t it be cool

In reply to Ali. Ali, I'm so sorry to hear that! Could you have made the Oreo pudding according to the directions on the package and used the amount of milk called for instead of just using the 1 ½ cups milk in the recipe? That's the only thing I can think of that might have contributed to them turning out this way. I'm glad to hear that you were still able to enjoy them though!

I refrigerated the dessert for several hours before serving it and it was like soup. I am going to try to freeze it and hopefully it will set better. Very tasty, though!
