this Oreo Cake sounds absolutely incredible! I love the idea of whole Oreos tucked into every bite – that’s definitely not your ordinary recipe. The description of moist chocolate cake, cream filling, and homemade frosting makes it sound like an ultimate dream for any dessert lover. Can’t wait to try it!

Beth, you will be able to cut through the Oreos with a knife as you slice the cake. They may break apart a little bit, but of course, they’re still edible.
The Oreo cream filling is meant to replicate the white cream filling of the Oreos, so there wouldn’t be any crushed cookies in it.

I can only think of two issues before making this:
1. How do you cut through the Oreos on the bottom? Aren’t they too hard to slice through?
2. You refer to the Oreo cream filling but there are no Oreos in it. Why is this?

This was such an amazing cake! My daughter saw the pic when I was scrolling through Oreo cokes for her upcoming birthday and she pointed to this one. The only issue I had was that I think I made the cream layer too creamy and cutting through the Oreo cookies was hard. Anyway to soften them up a bit?

In reply to Amber. Amber, the Oreos stay at the bottom of the cake without any issues. In my experience, anything heavier than the cake batter will sink unless it is coated in flour to help suspend it. The Oreos are placed into the cake pan as is and I've not had an issue with them moving.
