I decided to try your monkey bread recipe. I used two loaves of bread. The bummer part is I didn't use the bread right away. I put the frozen bread dough in the refrigerator to thaw out. Then I put in on the counter for way too long. By the time I got home the bread was exploding out of the pan. My husband helped me make the little dough balls and I put them in the bundt pan. I think I might of left it in the oven too long. Next time I would put it in the oven for around 20 minutes and then I would check on it. I looked in after 31 minutes and almost had burned monkey bread. I would definitely make it again. I made it for Valentines Day as an evening dessert.

I will definitely check back to get new recipes.

In reply to <a href="https://www.365daysofbakingandmore.com/moms-monkey-bread/#comment-2149">Annamaria @ Bakewell Junction</a>.

So I'm not alone, hunh, Annamaria? ;-)
Yes, I'd put a baking sheet under it as well and so very glad that I did or I would have had more of a mess!
I'm so glad it tasted so good, otherwise I really would have been upset! haha

Lynne,
I posted a Strawberry Monkey Bread this week. It's only the second time I've ever made monkey bread and both times it overflowed. Both are made with homemade dough and I just put a baking sheet underneath while it bakes. This way you get a few to dough balls to snack on while everyone else has to wait for the bread to cool down. It's so addicting.
