I’m a pastry chef and I made these. They were dry and hard to swallow. I had to remake them, adding more sugar, butter and a lot more milk. I don’t recommend that a beginner baker make these.

We love scones and this was an easy recipe for some leftover berries! I did have to add an extra tablespoon of milk to get it to hold together. I sprinkled the toos with a little sugar too….yum!

Flavor is great. Dough is a little difficult to work with at the end.

I loved these! They were very moist and the berries were awesome! I will make them again. They were not too sweet. If you like them sweater add some more sugar.

In reply to Phyllis Ferrentino. Phyllis, yes just be sure to thaw them first and drain them well. And just know that they may make the batter a bit blue because of the added moisture.
