I haven&#039;t made this yet, but am going to buy yeast and shortening tomorrow. I was in my teens when I got grandma to teach me how. Grandma Losciuto did not like to be bothered in the kitchen. I only did twice, Recently got a Kitchen Aid stand mixer. Should I use the paddle or the bread mixer? Last off, can I sprinkle sesame seeds on top? Thanks for the help.]]></description>

Almost a decade since you published this recipe. Its so good/reliable/flexible. I typically use beef lard (tasteless for those of you who haven&#039;t tried it) bc thats what I have on hand. The bread has great chew, nice crust and good shelf life with the lard. Thanks to you and your beloved grandmother.]]></description>
