Stephanie, even though I didn’t have an issue with it overflowing in the oven when using the 9-inch square pan, some people have said they have. For that reason, I wouldn’t recommend doubling it as I’m afraid that might happen. I would suggest just making the recipe in a 9 X 13-inch pan since there’s so much volume of the cake in the 9-inch pan.

Yummy! But the cooking time was off. At 50 minutes I still had wet batter in the middle. Had to cook another 15 minutes.
