My mom used to make home made rolls and bread loafs that were so good, she passed when i was 18 and i couldn’t remember her recipe. Ive tried countless recipes and this is the closest one I’ve ever found. Used only 6 cups of flour instead of what the recipe calls for and they were really fluffy and moist! My husband went back for 3rds of these rolls because they were so good!

In reply to Kelly. Kelly, I have done that, and unfortunately, I didn't have good results in regards to taste and texture. I suggest making the dough and baking them as soon as you can.

In reply to MrsRamey. Mrs. Ramey, I've not used anything but sugar in this recipe, and for that reason, I don't feel comfortable saying that you can substitute the honey. I would recommend a Google search for "Texas Roadhouse Rolls made with honey" as there may be one. Good luck! If you do want to try it, I would suggest making half the recipe so that if it doesn't turn out you haven't wasted the ingredients. Also, I'd love for you to report back and let us know how they turned out as others may be interested in doing the same.
