Grandma’s Italian Bread is a definite keeper. I gave the recipe to a friend who was looking for that perfect loaf. She found it in your recipe. Two loaves baked yesterday; shared one with us. We sliced it during the cooling period, slathered with unsalted butter which melted pretty quickly, and enjoyed every crumb. Three of us went back for seconds; the fourth cut a chunk to take home!

Left me her church cookbook with recipes she added to the blank pages. Ingredients but no instructions on how to make it OR what was i making! A couple i saw b4 she died but after…….they sit on those pages not being made. How sad is that? Love your site & recipes!
