Hi Nathan!  Welcome to the world of baking!  I&#039;m glad you are getting involved and enjoying yourself.  It&#039;s hard to say what went wrong with your torte, but in the future maybe try using cold egg whites for whipping, and make sure the chocolate is cooled all the way to room temperature before adding it to the eggs.  If it is too warm it could cause the eggs to scramble.  Also, smoothing the top of the torte before baking it might help make a &#039;prettier&#039; looking top.  And if all else fails, just add lots of toppings!  ;)  At least it still tasted good.  :)  Good luck if you try it again!]]></description>
