Two flavors of the holidays combined with Quaker whole grain oats, cinnamon, nutmeg and other delicious ingredients baked in a skillet. It’s a great new twist on the classic oatmeal cookie and a treat that’s perfect to serve on your holiday dessert table.

Ingredients
7tablespoonsunsalted butterroom temperature
¾cuppacked brown sugar
¼cupgranulated sugar
1egg
1teaspoonvanilla
1 ½cupQuaker Quick 1-Minute Oats
1cupflour
½teaspoonbaking soda
¾teaspooncinnamon
½teaspoonnutmeg
½teaspoonsalt
1applepeeled, cored, and diced
½cupchopped cranberriesplus additional for sprinkling on the top
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugars.
Scrape down the sides of the bowl and mix in the egg and vanilla.
In a large bowl, whisk together the Quaker Quick 1-Minute Oats, flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt.
Add dry ingredients to the butter mixture and incorporate fully.
Mix in the diced apple and chopped cranberries.
Place batter into a 10-inch cast iron skillet.
Sprinkle with additional chopped cranberries.
Bake for 30 minutes.
Serve with vanilla ice cream.
