In reply to Coleen. Colleen, the Torini caramel sauce has a completely different consistency than the caramel sauce I use in the recipe, so I'm guessing that was the problem. I hope you give them another try!

I made these and they overflowed the pan and didn’t turn out like a bar at all. No idea what I did wrong. I used Torini caramel sauce and am wondering if that was my problem.

In reply to Kris. Kris, I am so sorry the egg was omitted. Despite numerous edits, it's obvious that it's still possible to miss something. Thank you so much for bringing it to my attention. I have updated the recipe so that the egg is in fact included in the directions. Again, I apologize.

I made this recipe, and then realized that there was an egg in the ingredients, which wasn’t in the directions anywhere, therefore my bars did not turn out. Maybe consider redoing the recipe and adding the egg where it needs to be.. probably in with the cake mix and vanilla

Who would think a brownie made from a cake mix is so good!!! So ooey gooey!
