In reply to Tracy. Tracy, with this new machine, I'm pretty sure you need to use k-cups are are specifically make for the Keurig machines, no generic and no refillable. They also have a bigger pod so that it will fill the carafe.

In reply to Kristin. Kristin, I don't believe that you can. You need to look for the cartons that say approved for all K-cup machines. There's a little spot on the package.

I’m jealous…lucky you to get a free one….my daughter has a Keurig….but I will never be able to afford one…and one with a carafe to boot….that must be like a little piece of heaven. 🙂

Can you use the refillable filter cups? Or off brand cups with this?

Sounds like a good machine. Does it use the original k cups as well to brew the one cup or have they changed the size on that as well. Also where I live I can not purchase the coffee I prefer so I use the washable ones as well at times..
