In reply to Marie Winner. Marie, the butter and brown sugar amounts called for in the recipe are correct. If you feel that you want to cut back on the sugar, you could do that, maybe to 1/4 - 1/3 cup. I definitely wouldn't reduce the butter though since there are a total of 5 cups cereal, Bugles and pretzels called for that need to be coated. Enjoy!

In reply to Wendy Elizabeth Jacobs. Wendy, this snack mix can be stored for up to a week in a resealable plastic bag or airtight container and does not need to be refrigerated. Have a great time camping and enjoy snacking!

Made tonight. Was looking for a snack mix with a different flavor. It is so good. And easy as it you only stir once when baking.
