Maureen, in my recipe I used medium grain rice. I know that jasmine rice requires less water for cooking than medium grain. So, if the same amount of water was used to cook the jasmine rice as is required for medium grain rice than that definitely would have been a contributing factor as to why yours came out soupy.]]></description>
