					<description><![CDATA[Know the saying &quot;live and kearn&quot;? Well, I learned today. Thought I&#039;d use a shortcut to save time and learned the hard way. Instead of using the given recipe for these stick cookies, I used 2 packets of Ghirardelli chocolate chip cookie mix. I followed rest of recipe exactly, chilling proper time, but when I baked them, all went into one huge cookie. Oh well, I will try again using the exact recipe!!]]></description>

Nan, you can use the same amount of vegetable shortening in place of the coconut oil. You could also use vegetable oil, but the shortening is flavorless, so that wouldn&#039;t add any additional taste to the flavor profile of the cookies.

<p>Nan, you can use the same amount of vegetable shortening in place of the coconut oil. You could also use vegetable oil, but the shortening is flavorless, so that wouldn&#8217;t add any additional taste to the flavor profile of the cookies.<br />
